I was viewing a video that I received from Landauer Publishing. The videos were on perfect piecing. I'm always looking for new techniques or tips that make piecing better. So, I watched this seven minute video and was amazed at how to make a four patch block from two squares with perfect seams. I'm always looking for ways to make half square triangles, and now another way to make a four patch. I'm going to try it and see how long it takes. The only downside is that you are only making two blocks at a time. I'm going to add this to my blog Pieces to Patch.
I'm still learning to bite that elephant one piece at a time. My next bite is to star saving again with Affinity. I need to have a little nest egg, so I can feel comfortable and not worry. I'm also praying that God will guide me through my three year plan of becoming debt free or close to it. I don't want to have to worry about giving all my money to the creditors; the bills I have made. They are nothing but loans wrapped in a plastic card. Feels good to be able to use them and then the bill comes. Pay back time takes everything away from you.
