Almost Done!
I worked on my rainbow mini quilt yesterday. I quilted it and now I have to bury the threads and add the border. I'm so glad and then I want to make several things to send to my partner. I am going to make her daughter something too.
I Missed It! 012715
Yesterday was suppose to be my 364th day of blogging and I had one more day left. Of course I forgot to write that entry in my blog, so now I'm doing it. I have to still write one last blog entry tomorrow.

Blizzard . . .
The weather forecast wasn't a happy one. They have predicted a blizzard heading our way. Things won't be back to normal until Wednesday, that's when everything should be cleared out. I'm spending my time competing the rainbow mini quilt. So far I've paper pieced all four blocks and sewn it them together; that was done this weekend, and today I've added the borders. I referred back to the late night quilters video on adding perfect borders. It works! Now I have to decide whether or not to add another border with color before I sandwich it together. I'm going to decide all of this tomorrow. good night for now!

COMPLETE
That's my one word challenge for this year 2015. I'm going to strive for completion. I have to clean up all of my works in progress. It's important for me to make a conscious effort and make it happen. I have one more day and then I'm finish with this blog. I have to say I did complete this goal of mine. I know I missed a couple of entries, but I made sure I blogged more than once when I missed a day.

The Gathering
Today was one of teacup gatherings. I really enjoy being with the group. I didn't take my sewing machine but I took somethings to work on. I just needed the time alone and not with my sister. It was me time. The Christmas stocking swap was a great idea. We have several challenges to work on and I have to look for a tote bag tutorial for the group for next Christmas or I should say " for the holidays." Friends, food, and fellowship!

IPad Mini Case
I made KZ1 an IPad mini case for his new IPad mini. I finally used the spiderman fabric that I had. I washed it and quilted it. I also added a handle; not bad for the first time. I am going to make WP2 one for his birthday too. I guess I'll have to make three in all.

Let Go . . .
I'm going to make several gifts for my friends and I only have a week to complete all twenty. I want to make heat pads, zippered pouches, and needle holders. I'm going to go forward.
Thankful! 010615
Yesterday was a busy day for me, and a tiring day for my mom. She had two doctor appointments, an ultra sound and x-rays all in one day. The weather was snowy and very cold, but by God's grace we did it. He gave her the strength to complete the task. I know she wanted to give up after the early morning wake-up. I was able to get a little rest and still make my quilt groupo. I really enjoy quilting and seeing my friends. It's my time!

Happy 2015!
Here I go moving forward into another year. I can't believe it's two thousand twelve already. William is thirty-six years old today. My sons are getting older and I'm so proud of all three of them. They have become wonderful loving husbands, fathers, and most of all men. I thank God for there growth and direction.
