I have to practice my quilting before I quilt my IG mini quilt. I really want it to be right.

Liebster Award

I spent all day working on my Pieces to Patch blog. I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Craft Eccentrics. it's basically a way for you to share your blog and other blogs that you visit with other bloggers. It's another way to network. So I spent most of my morning doing this. I finished this evening.

Helter-Skelter

I feel like I'm all over the place. My mind has so much to do, I have to stop and breathe. I am so thankful for the Teacups. I have to start writing down all of the projects I want to work on. I have to add another article to my Pieces to Patch blog. I pray that God sends the thought to me so I can write it.

St. George's

Tonight we quilt at the church. I'm excited to go to see my quilt buddies. I'm working on my IG mini swap and I hope to finish it ot at least sandwich it tonight.

My New Toy! 102514

My son bought me a GPS for my birthday. I was reluctant to use it, so he decided to set it up for me. I'm so happy that he did. It's going to be with me wherever I go. I'm going to make a quilted case for it. Thanks son!

Slow Start

I'm up but haven't started to move yet. I have several things to do before I go to Waymon's funeral. I'm going to take my sister with me. I would really like to leave her here.

Another Busy Day 102314

Picked up WP1, paid on my layaway, bought fabric from Fabric Warehouse. Went to church and entered new food pantry client applications into database for the food pantry. I stopped at Rock Paper Scissors and bought some more fabric. Last stop was quilting with the seniors.

Indoors Today

It's a cold and windy day, but I'm going to go to the doctor and get a referral for another mammogram. I'm also going to sew today.

Around the World 102114

I went to quilt last night. I started on my mini quilt. I'm making a Quick Trip quilt using Eleanor Burns' tutorial. It's a quick and easy quilt.

New Projects

I have to start and finish my IGMiniSwap quilt now. I have to get ready for my quilt retreat trip in November. I want to make a Quick Trip quilt too.

A Walk for the Cure 101914

It was cold and windy yesterday, but we persevered and walked for the cure. The annual Newark Breast Cancer Walk was so fulfilling. I am so thankful that I can do that in remembrance of those who are no longer with us, but were survivors of this disease.

Busy Weekend!

Oh, well I'm almost through the weekend. It's a busy one but I'm glad I had the pleasure of doing something with both WP1 and KZ1. Tomorrow WP1 and I will walk for the cure. It's our annual Breast Cancer Walk.

Moving on . . .

I completed all the shirts and delivered all but three. I will hopefully deliver them tomorrow; after my return from seeing Moses.

All but one . . .

Although I was up until the wee hours in the morning. I am so happy that I completed what I set out to do last night. I have one t-shirt to finish and that's mine. I'm going to take the shirts to everyone tomorrow.

Busy Again!

I'm trying to complete the shirts. I'm working on them tonight.

A Trip Around the World

Josie emailed me asking if there was a modern tutorial for this block. She had already seen Eleanor Burns' tutorial. I did a little research and found another tutorial by Rose Smith. I wasn't thrilled with her tutorial. Of course I found other written patterns for this quilt. Some were scrappy and others had a little modern twist; by the way the quilt was put together. This is an interesting quilt to make. I'm going to put it on my to do list. Thanks Josie!

I finally completed the other lap quilt for Janet. I even called it Laptop by mistake. I am so glad I was able to give it to her on Sunday. She really liked it.

Focus Needed!

I have to get back on trak and focus on the task ahead of me.

No Water After Eight

I over slept. I didn't get much sleep; going to the bathroom every two hours. I drank too much before bed. I will have to stop by eight every night. When I finally got to sleep I had a dream about being at a wedding, but before that I dreamt about tackling one of my cousins because I thought he was going to rob my sister. Crazy dreams.

Pink . . .

I am going to work on the cancer tee-shirts for our cancer walk on the 19th of October. We are walking for the cure; but God has the cure, and he will put it in the minds of those who are researching it.

Up Early

I had a seven-thirty mammogram appointment today. I really like going early, and today was one of those days that I got up early and felt invigorated. I'm going to Joann's today. I have to get some foam to cushion the egg.

Teacups . . .

Tonight was busy. I had several things to do before I went to quilt. I was late but determined to get there. I finished the back of my quilt. The one I'm making for Janet's senior friend. I really gave these quilts away but it's for a good cause. I will not do this again.

I have to start making all the things I want to take to Va.

His Spirit . . .

Praising the Lord was a true experience today. God's spirit flowed throughout our bodies. He is so awesome. I thank God for His Love.

Forgot to blog. I had a busy rainy day, but it was worth it.

Crazy Me!

I have no need for another sewing machine, and yet I ordered another one. Singer computerized machine with extra feet. I am so so foolish. I spend too much money and I don't know why I don't send it back. I'm going to read the manual and use it to the fullest. I'm going to set up my machines so that I can do something different on each one.

Seniors Tonight

I wasn't going tonight because Will asked me to watch the boys, but things changed and I am going now.

Bills to Pay!

Today is the first of the month and all bills are due.
